I just got back from a fabulous rl vacation. It was a busy, fun filled adventure that none of us will soon forget.

It was strange to be away from SL for that long (almost 3 weeks!) I logged in twice even though I had my laptop, I was just so busy it was impossible to even keep up with the fashion feeds! Alas I return to the most fabulous Friday (they are always so good! Makes Fridays even more awesome!)

Naval Gazing & Being Pink

I am in awe that it is June. The last time I looked up from my naval gazing it was like early May :/ Along the way, I forgot to do what I love in Second Life. I got so wrapped up in my thoughts, my losses and activities, I haven't taken a snapshot in weeks. Weeks. Back to what I enjoy.

So pink. Some girls love it. Some girls don't. I hated it growing up. Hated. Then I embraced my inner pink, and now enjoy the colour in moderation. This dress by A&M is one of my favourite itty bitty cute pink dress in my inventory so I had to share it as my pink for Week 28 of the 52 Week Color Challenge hosted by Luna.

Hey Mr Tangerine Man

For weeks I have been trying to work on my little sacred place in SL and for weeks I get distracted by beach parties, rez day parties, cute boys and awesome friends. So this morning, I got all comfy, wearing my fave Bears PJ's (go Bears!) and started working on it a little, when I realized ... WAIT! I am wearing Tangerine!!!!! SCORE!  I am in awe that we have been at the 52 week color challenge for 26 weeks!! I am so grateful for the weekly inspiration. I adore taking photos and blogging but it is easy not to. And though I am not hard c0re, I feel part of the sl blogging community, hehe a small part anyway.

Did not get much done around the place, but I look cute and I am not late for the blogging challenge!

I love a good thunder storm in rl, so when I rezzed into the Woods of Whimsy and felt the vibrations of a good storm, I was instantly in love. I took this picture for Week 25 of my 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, early last week, yet I just could not find the time to blog it. I had been in the mood to explore and "Periwinkle" just didn't seem right, yet I fell in love with the picture. The Woods of Whimsy are amazing, in fact I got called away before I was able to explore the sim entirely. Be sure to check it out :)

Wicked Tiny Digits

When I first read Strawberry Singh's post, I was totally curious what other's were doing with their avies. What I have enjoyed the most is that everyone is so unique and different.

My digits have evolved over time, though I have always been relatively short compared to most. I enjoy being petite and curvy. Though there are some clothes that never quite shrink far enough for my shape, I am happy with it. If only it were this easy to be comfortable in our RL skin, eh?

I totally was prepared for last week's Colour Challenge, I took the photo and even had the credits done. Somehow I just could never find the time to pull it all together to finish the post. I even have this week's colour Asparagus done, however I will not be surprised if it takes me a while to post it. 


So Banana Mania .. at first I was so sure I would not have anything that would work, then I slipped into this super sexy, comfy wool sweater dress by Paradisis (one of my fave shops!) and it was perfect for week 22 of the 52 week color challenge. I so totally enjoy spending an evening, dressing up, taking photos at an amazing location. I get so lost in the moment. Friends IM and I talk but I am still so consumed by the water, the sand and the pictures ...

I just finished reading the three books in the Inheritance Cycle, so went to search fairy, stumbling upon Elven  Forest. I am so going to have to return and explore more! The sim is gorgeous!

I had so much fun with this contest! I have admired !dM for like ever. I thought I had some of the designs, but what I had was pretty limited so I went back to the store and browsed forever totally could not make up my mind.

The Winter Blues

I seriously had NOTHING in my inventory that would work as Indigo. Then I spotted this top on the 25 Linden Tuesday site, and was completely inspired by it. I am so grateful for the inspiration of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.

It feels natural

As a colour lover, exploring the colours that Luna has chosen for the 52 weeks of Color Challenge, has been so so much fun.


This week ... err last week <blushes> the colour was Sienna. The colour sienna reminds me of nature and calming, woodsy and rustic. Since my rl world is blanketed with snow, I thought I would venture out and find a snowy place to take some pictures. I stumbled upon the Buddhist Meditation and Teaching Center. Totally a nice build and matched my calm, laid back mood.

As for the clothes. As much as I adore nature it appears I do not wear much of that shade of brown. Yet when I slipped into this sexy dress by Paradisis I knew it would be perfect. Since I was trekking through the snow I grabbed my toque from Truth, boots from J's and was set to relax and enjoy nature.

It's My Rez Day :/

I feel really introspective today. It has been 7 years since I entered into Second Life for the first time. Back then it was a totally different world, crude, raw and ready to be created.

So far I have had a really quiet day. I have spent a lot of time on my own. There are so many people I wish were still here, yet I am so happy to have the Second Life that I have. I am loving this blog. I am loving being neighbors with Lukas & Sy (and the turtles when they are there). I explore with Honcho. I have my girls that I go to chats with. Cypher, Bonnie, Alisha ... all new people I am enjoying getting to know.

Of course there is Him ... the one that makes my heart skip a beat, who brings me to my kneels ...

I wonder ... will there be another 7 years to reflect on ... I am eager to find out.

Well life got busy. Both my real life then my second life. I find people are slowly discovering I actually have a blog, so I probably should you know keep it up!

I actually spent part of New Year's Eve in SL this year. I was home, it was that or watch a movie :/ I had fun with some friends AND more importantly I got to wear some party goodies!

I love love love this hair by Exile! It was sent out as a gift to subscribers and I got a ton of compliments!

Oooo I also bought new eyes! I adore Poetic Colors and guiltily have been wearing free ones, from a hunt they participated in. So I had some time on my own and took a look. I wanted a deep dark mysterious, big ole puppy dog look and I think I totally got it with these called, Night Rain.

The dress by Kyoot is to die for! So cute and so sexy! I have worn it again since! Really how can a girl go wrong for $L50 ?!?!

Tomorrow is my Rez day. It will be 2556 days since I created teara Coral in Second Life. Seven YEARS! I am glad Tony dragged me here, even though I wasn't really ready to create another life for myself at the time.  This year has brought me so much happiness ... some of which I will talk about on my Rezz Day ... Tomorrow ... in case you forgot ;)
