It's not easy being green

I totally like participating in SL Hunts. I am wickedly obsessive about finding the little item and searching clues. I adore finding new places to shop and explore. I have become more selective which hunts I do. A lot are full of junk (no offense) and I rarely pay for hunt items. Before assuming I am a cheap wad, I spend my fair share of lindens. I like to shop. A lot. However when I fork over the lindens I do so because I adore the item not for some random mystery prize (Gatcha addict so those are exempt from rant).  I found some of my favourite stores (Acid & Mala Creations for example) and have met some really awesome people while hunting.

The Twisted Hunt is where I found the green outfit. I have always been attracted to the dark and twisted. I started reading Stephen King when I was 8 years old. There is something really comforting in knowing there is way way worse out there. Maybe that is why I am always so nice and cheerful. The dark and twisted in SL is wicked. I love exploring haunted asylums, graveyards and other spooky things creative people conjure up. Even one of my best friends is a vampire.

Though my green outfit is not really twisted. I tend to be cute and cuddley, rather than the twisted and hard. I searched my The Twisted Hunt, first to look for the perfect thing for week 8 of the 52 Week Color Challenge. If you look closely even my hair has some streaks of green :) Okies i am off to find some spooky spot to scare the heebies out of myself! Coming?

Merry Christmas everyone!

I am totally enjoying some time in rl, doing the Christmas thing with the family :) However I could not pass up one last chance to wear these uber cute Reindeer PJ's by Intrigue Co.The candy cane is a really neat prop from *chanimations. They have the coolest poses and props there. Definitely a place to check out. Very vintage, sexual but awesome!

Enjoy the holidays!

Loving the Pink

This 52 Weeks of Color Challenge is so fun and so challenging! I thought ... w00t pink I have so much pink ... yeah I have soft pink not Cerise so much.. Though I have a lot of lingerie that would fit I was looking for something a little warmer. Then I remember my Ducknipple hoodies! Perfect for hanging out by the fire talking with a good friend about vicious hackers and life and love.

I hope to blog one more time before Christmas, if not...to my three readers .... Merry Christmas! I hope the new year brings you much joy and happiness.

She Wore an Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

ahh yellow. Never a colour I actually wear. Never a colour I use to paint walls. Yet yellow is a wonderful, bright, full of energy colour. I needed some brightness in my sl world so I went to my new favourite place in SL (besides my place and hehe His). I stripped away all my worries for half an hour, explored, swam and basked in Yellow.

Temenos, a very quiet and beautiful sim is full of treasures for explorers, lovers, friends and lone wanderers. I even found Bag End! I always find something new every time I explore there.

Sadly Emjay no longer exists. I own like 80% of the label. I love the casual, fun style. The Itsy Bitsy Bikini is an Emjay.

Oh OH! So forever I have been looking for a nice, sexy tattoo. Then my search became even more frantic. I have one I adore from Huz Tattoos but I really really wanted a sexy leg tattoo. Well searching the Marketplace, helped me find V Tattoo. <squeals> The designer is super nice and has the hottest tattoos! This one called "Leafs" is one of two I could not live without. The options are endless, the designer provides so many layers and of course Viewer 2 tattoos.

Well Hi There

I am totally having an insane week, so this installment of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge is so totally late.

However last night I was feeling creative, totally stumbled upon this outfit, fell in love with it, tp'd to what is now an unknown sim (damn you wine for making me forget where I was!) and took some wicked fun shots. The sim is a steampunk location. That is the only thing I remember. Awful. Bad wine drinking teara bad.

Grab the Popcorn the ZOMBIES are here!!!!

I so love love love the Popcorn Zombie hunts!!! I have taken part in all of them and had a blast doing so. There are items that I have collected that I still wear all the time. Not only that, some of my favourite designers participate.

I am usually a girly girl. Teeny tiny dresses that make my legs look like they are longer than long...but the edgy fun stuff that comes from hunting for the Zombie popcorn makes my sl heart flutter.

I haven't had time to complete the Zombie Popcorn Hunt 3 ... yet ... but I thought it would be fun to do a photoshoot of previous Zombie Popcorn goodies ... So I headed to the Zombie Forest ... was attacked by zombies and ew rats but got some fun shots.

Oh and if you are ever feeling a tad frustrated and need to let it all out, the Zombie Forest provides you with a weapon and you can totally kick some zombie butt ... hehe good for the soul I tell ya!

Zombie!

Week 4 -- Plum

I was in post-emotional-turmoil-processing time last night, so eventually I escaped the madness and went exploring on my own. I am an odd cookie at times. I have always enjoyed having alone time in massive virtual worlds. One of my closest friends always ribs me about that. I log in and hope not to talk to anyone. Or I attend an event then sneak off to explore on my own. I have met some really wicked people just hanging out on beautiful sims.

I have been seeking the perfect location for this week's 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, as well as the perfect look. I was glad I took a peak at the Flickr Group, I spotted someone else in the outfit I had chosen. Not that everyone doesn't wear it in their way, I just wanted to be unique.

So being in turmoil, I felt like roughing it up a little. Wanting to step beyond the feelings and just be frisky. I stumbled across an empty sim called, Mystery Man City - The Park and had so much fun! It is this like Neko playground, all city grunge with ropes to climb and pose balls to hop on and giggle! So here is me all edgey and playful and plum! I had so much fun, it is so hard to narrow down the pictures!

The Bandwagon

I am still getting the hang of this blogging my second life gig, however I decided to jump on the bandwagon and join the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, hosted by Luna Jubilee. Not only is it great inspiration every week, I will get out there in the community too. So I am a week late :/ However this is catch up and I will be sure to be able to keep up after this ... I hope!

The first week the color was Grey ... I love grey! The colour of a cloudy day, mist and so beautiful.

Don't you love it when ...

Teara and Skanda at Radiant Cathedral and Art Museum
You log in and instantly you bestest friend asks you to come hang out?! Yeah me too! Saturday night, the world was just coming into focus and my bestest Lukas sent me an IM. A new art gallery was opening up and he was there with Sy .. did I want to come check it out?

umm .... YES!

So of course I had to change. I had a cute, all but non existent outfit on. So I switched to a cute black dress that I found in the Dressing Room, ages ago.

So I have never been disappointed when Lukas invites me to experience anything in SL. Saturday night was no exception. I arrived at the Radiant Cathedral and Art Museum, waited for the people around me to appear (it was packed once I rezzed the lag was non existent for me but others had issues).

The Cathedral itself is a work of art. Truly breathtaking. Matthew Anthony the Curator of the Radiant Cathedral and Art Museum, has collected works of art in Second Life since 2003 to the current day. The art totally ranges in themes and there is nothing that is short of extraordinary.

It was an awesome evening, with great people. The art was amazing, though I got distracted chatting and then stepping on a dinosaur's tail, so I did not see all that was displayed. I look forward to going back and checking out more.

Upon Returning

Ever since I returned to Second Life earlier this year, I have wanted to start a blog. I have experience writing blogs and it seemed like a good way to connect my creative exploration with Second Life.

So it has been a while and I am finally getting around to starting this. I am not sure if it is something I will write for mass consumption or merely journalling. Either way I want to chronicle the second life I am living. I want a connection. I want to be forced to be more creative, rather than passively exist.

I recently set up a Flickr account that will co-exist with this. I want to buff up my sl photography skills. I have a long list of wants in my SL. With any luck, writing will assist me in reaching those goals.

Tonight I went exploring and stumbled into the Spencer Museum of Art Sim. Totally a fun place to explore, next time I am snagging a friend or two to join me.

Upon arriving on the sim, I discovered a sign that stated "Falling Parts, Click Sign to receive Noggin Protector". Never one to dismiss the need for safety gear, I donned my petrovsky noggin protector helmet v3, as well as the two henrycopter attachments and I was on my way.

Chilling

This chair was cool. Boing'd all over :)

Taking a Break

Me sitting on a tongue ... yes a tongue.

Walking the Tight Rope

Later in the night I did drag a friend back over to the sim and we had a blast! Definitely more fun with an exploring pal!
